Valentine's Day Style

Valentine's Day is a week from today. And as usual, ladies are wondering what to wear for dinner, and guys are wondering what gifts to get for the loves in their lives.  For the past couple years, my husband and I have chosen to celebrate at our house with a home cooked meal and a movie.  We set up a little table in our living room, and have our own little romantic evening.  My husband and I try to have Valentine-esque days throughout the year, so we don't get as excited about Valentine's Day as we would for our Birthdays or Christmas.  We shouldn't just be romantic and lovey dovey one day out of the year.  I love Valentines day, but for different reasons.  I love the colors red and pink mixed together, I love hearts, chocolate, candy and I love flowers.  I enjoy seeing these things in the fashion world, as well as stores, magazines, blogs, etc. It makes me happy and excites me to think that Spring is only a few months away! I think if we lived in an area where February is seasonally warmer than freezing temperatures, I would be more inclined to go out on the town and celebrate.  But lately, this weather has been such a mood buster, and all the ice/snow we have had is NOT a good combination with my 4 inch heels. So I am going to get all dressed up and walk the short distance to my living room, and enjoy a romantic evening with my husband.

Whether you are going out or staying in, here are some outfits that will surely win over your Valentine this year.
Over the Top

This outfit pulls out all the stops. From the gold glitter Louboutins, to the Tiffany "Love" necklace. I also like the red/pink color combination. I have seen this a lot lately, and what better place to try it out than a Valentine's Date.

Rockin' Reds

These dresses are sure to turn some heads. And if they aren't enough, check out the heels I paired with them! H-O-T! I love pairing red with blues and pinks.  And I am LOVING it with the Leopard Heel too!

Casual Valentine's Outfit

This is the perfect outfit for a night in, or somewhere more casual. I love this sweater! It's just the right amount of red and it adds a little flare with the animal print.
