This is probably the trend I am most excited about for fall; the Cape! From the moment I saw the DKNY version on the runway last spring, I was obsessed. It is a great way to create a chic fashion statement. To make the cape stand out, keep your outfit sleek and fitted. The chicest way to wear this is to pair it with slim fitting pants, pencil skirt, or wool trousers. I would pair a snug sweater and knee height boots to complete the look. This is definitely an investment piece, as most versions are in the upper hundreds to thousands. But, I am certain that my go-to store, H&M and Zara will likely have fabulous versions of their own.
