Thanksgiving

It's almost time to stuff our faces with some fabulous home cooked food. I, for one, cannot wait to get home for some sweet potatoes, corn casserole, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, stuffing, and turkey. I love food, so you can imagine how much I enjoy Thanksgiving. This year will be extra special for me. We alternate holidays with my sister and her husband, and this year we will spend Thanksgiving together, and Christmas apart. As sad as I am that we won't be celebrating Christmas together, I am really excited about getting to have a few days to spend with them for Thanksgiving. This year, we decided to have Thanksgiving at my parents. We usually spend it in NWA with my Great Aunt and Uncle and cousins. And as much as I LOVED spending the holiday with them, I am really looking forward to spending it with just the 5 of us and Aiden. We don't get to do that too often. Living so far away, I don't get to see them at all really, so it will be nice to relax and enjoy the time we do get to spend as a family. AND I get to see Benny! I miss that boy more than I ever thought possible. I am trying my best to work my job and social life around being able to bring him back with me. He would love the city, I just know it! I am so thankful for everything I have been given. It has been a year of ups and downs, but I really feel like I am finally at the place I am supposed to be. I love this city, my job, and the possibilities that come with both of those. I could not be happier and hope that things only continue to go up from here. I wish all of you fabulous lovelies a very Happy Thanksgiving! We all have something to be thankful for, and this time of year is the perfect time to appreciate all that we have. Have a wonderful holiday, and I will see you next week! xo
