Looking for a new show to get addicted to? Well, Don’t trust the B in Apt 23 is it! Last week I had the fabulous opportunity to attend a private showing of the first two episodes at the fabulous theater in the Tribeca Grand Hotel. The show’s two stars, Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker were there to watch along with us! Both are so sweet and down to earth! With champagne and appetizers floating around, guests were able to mingle with the show’s creator and stars, as well as Alice & Olivia creator Stacey Bennett! Who looked fabulous in an A&O White Frock! Krysten and Dreama were also looked fabulous in A&O dresses as well!
The show takes place in, where else, New York! Krysten plays “Chloe” the so called “B” in apartment 23, and she couldn’t be further from her character. Dreama plays “June” the naive Midwestern girl who rents the apartment with her. And ladies, for those of us old enough to remember Dawson’s Creek, James Vander Beek plays a self absorbed version of himself and best friend to Chloe. They all play really well off of each other and it makes you want to watch more to see what scheme or mess Chloe gets herself or June into next. Trust me; there are a lot of laughs and puns throughout the episodes. If you are in need of a good laugh and a show that makes you realize your life is great in comparison to these ladies, you have to watch this show. So if your Wednesday nights are lacking in anything exciting, tune to ABC and get a few laughs at the expense of these crazy New Yorkers.
