I'm still here!! . . . Christmas Loot

Sorry for the absence, hubby and I have had the week off and we have been doing projects around the house all week! I love being able to deep clean our house, and start the new year fresh and clean! I have really enjoyed having the week off, and am not really looking forward to going back to work Monday. But, I have to pay for my fashion obsessions somehow!

We had a fabulous Christmas with my family! It went by way too fast! I racked up, and have so many new clothes, shes, bags, and jewelry to start the new year off right! Here are just a few of my new favorite things!

Colin Stuart Boots
I got these boots in Grey! They
are fabulous! They can be worn three different ways!

Tory Burch Dena Tote
LOVE the color and leather of this bag. It's the
softest leather! It's a great color to use as a neutral.

Rain/Snow Boots

This might not be high on some of your alls lists, but let me tell you they come in really handy every once in a while.  Especially this time of year.  Up here we tend to get snow and ice at least twice during the winter months.  And having weather proof boots makes getting to work and out of the house much easier.  If you live anywhere where rain and snow are frequent, please do yourself and your other fabulous shoes a favor, and buy some equally fabulous rain boots. Here are some of my favorites!

Fingerless Gloves

If you don't have a pair, you are missing out! Theses babies are the perfect accessory to own this season! They are great for mild weather, those who need to text but still keep their hands warm, and I have even seen women getting manicures and puttin these on before they get their polish. Whatever your use, they are a great update! Much more practical and useful! I love mine!!

12 Days of Fashion . . . Day 9

To me, getting a manicure is something I always look forward to. I have stated before that I have an obsession with manicures. And this time of year, its even worse. I LOVE dark nail polish. There are so many out right now that I love, I am having a hard time picking which to wear and when.  Since Christmas is Saturday (can you believe it's already here!!!), I probably should go for a red, but I am probably going to stick with my usual dark polish. Here are a few of my favorite colors right now.

Nothing finishes or makes an outfit like a fun belt.  Skinny belts are everywhere this season.  They can be casual as well as dressy. Check out these lovelies sporting this trend!

12 Days of Fashion . . . Day 7

Sometimes you just need to take a break from leggings and kick your wardrobe up a notch.  This is where tights come in.  There are so many different styles, types, colors, etc., that it should be a cake walk to find some that fit your style and outfit.  If you do wear bold or patterned tights, keep the rest of your outfit simple.  A great example is wearing a simple black dress with some bold tights. I am loving the cable-knit, flower, and lace patterns right now.  But there are so many more.  Check out the ones below.

12 Days of Fashion . . . Day 6

Ok, today's fashion lovely isn't something you can see.  It's something you wear under your clothes.  I received these as a gift several years ago, and not cannot live without them!! They are lifesavers!!

Not everyone wants the Rachel Green (Friends) look.  Some people are self-conscious about the possibility of show through.  Well Friends, these babies take care of that. I know there are several other products out that are also used for this problem, but so far these are my favorite! No more having to buy padded bras when you don't need the padding, just to make sure you don't show through shirts.  They are made of silicone and don't require any tape or adhesive.  They use your own body heat to adhere to your skin.  Genius Invention! No more worrying about embarrassing show through, these babies have got you covered. (no pun intended)!

Bling Rings

No, I am not talking about the group of kids that were robbing celebrities houses last year. I'm talking about those fabulous little sparklers you have seen on just about every hand of every woman this season.  And, it's safe to say that I am slightly obsessed with them! They aren't just for cocktail parties or formal events anymore! These can be worn everyday with just about every type of outfit! (and I have seen them on women wearing sweats.) So check out some of my favorites below. Not all of them have bling, but they are still great options for adding a little flare to your wardrobe.

12 Days of Fashion . . . Day 3

This has become a daily staple for me lately.  With temperatures in the 30's and 40's, a scarf is an everyday must!  I think I have added about 6 to my collection in the past month.  They are a great alternative to a necklace, and can add a pop of color, texture, or sparkle to your wardrobe.  Here are some of my favorites.
