All that Glitters . . .

I am still recovering from my shopping trip this past weekend! Boy is this girl worn out!!! But I am happy to say that I went, shopped, and conquered all the gifts on my shopping list! While I was marathon shopping, I couldn't help but notice lots of glittery, sparkly things. This trend was in just about ever store I went into. I am a girly girl at heart, and love anything sparkly.  And this time of year, you can get away with tons of it! Below is a great option for any holiday party, or just having dinner or drinks with friends.  I also have a few accessories that I think would be great pieces to add to any outfit this time of year!

Glitter Lust. . .

This is a great outfit for a girls night or broadway play. I love pairing black and gold together. It definitly makes a statement!
Nail Polish

My favorite little Sparklers.

Girls' crushed glitter belt
Add this to a simple black dress and you are
ready to go from day to night.
DYING over this jacket! I want
to add this to my wardrobe! This is the perfect
addition to jeans and a cami. No matter what is
underneath, when you put on this blazer your outfit
goes from a 0 to a 10!
Tory Burch 'Reva' Glitter Flat
Heels aren't the only shoe option you can wear
during the holidays.  These flats add just the
right amount of sparkle to any outfit.
Calvin Klein Sequin Tank Dress
Um, how amazing is this dress!
This is a great option for a holiday party, or if you feel like
getting a little more dressed up during the holiday season. I
would totally rock this dress for Christmas Eve!
Even though it's winter, you can still wear
shorts. Especially these! I would wear these with
tights, a tank and a boyfriend blazer. Oh, and some
cute little booties.
Expressions NYC Sequin Box Clutch
This is the perfect clutch to take to
all your holiday parties. It holds just about
everything you need for a night out, and it adds some
sparkle to make any outfit look complete. It's also
SUPER affordable.

Flower Bud Necklace - Sequin
Flower Bud Necklace
Statement necklaces like this one are a
great addition to any wardrobe.  This is a
great example of taking an outfit from day to
night.  Throw this on with a black dress and you are
ready for any holiday party!

Now, go out and grab some sparkly accessories!

  1. Sarah, I loved this post!!
I have two holiday parties to attend this month, and I think the look you put together above (black pants, glitter top--which I'm still on the hunt for one myself anyway) will work just perfect for one of my parties. However, it would be just fabulous if you'd do an entry on the various outfits for different types of, friends, formal, informal??

I have one next week for work, it's on a weeknight from 6-8, invitation says "holiday attire"--I'm sure I have something, but I'd love to see what you'd put together...and I'm sure others would benefit from the other creative ideas for those other parties :)
